The host of El Discípulo del Chef was invited to Julio César Rodríguez’s program, Pero Con Respeto, and told her love story with Axel Reichhard, whom she married in 2018 and they have a son.
Julio Cesar Rodriguez: “A very unusual thing, that you have approached your partner, you have taken the initiative at all times. Were you always like this?”
Emilia Daiber: “I have always been like this. If I liked someone I thought ‘you have to try it. In the worst case it doesn’t work, but how can we not take the initiative to be able to approach someone we like?’
“And in this case I had a friend who started to show me some photos, they all looked like gringos, so she told me ‘I like this one and this one’, and I looked at the one next to me, who was Axel. I said ‘I fell in love’. The little eyes with the little eyelashes up, altiro in the pure photo. I said ‘this is going to be my man'”
Rodríguez: “How old were you there?”
Daiber: “I must have been 20 years old. When I made my date I went to a supermarket, I went to buy clothes, a white dress and everything. I arrived and told my mom and dad ‘I met the love of my life, so in a few more weeks I’m going to introduce you to a new boyfriend.’ She had yet to see him in person.
“The thing is that I called a rooster I didn’t know, through a friend I made contact, I called him ‘hello, I don’t know you…'”
Rodríguez: “And you weren’t afraid of rejection?”
Daiber: “What happens is that I said ‘what am I going to lose?’ So I called this friend and told him ‘you know I want to meet your friend, Axel…’ The friend I called, I didn’t know, Axel had been with his sister.
“It was the former brother-in-law. I mean, until then they were still half together, I understand, so I thought that this rooster wanted to get rid of him, so he did all my hands. I tell him ‘alright, when can you introduce him to me? Build a reel, some question, but I need to see it’”
Rodríguez: “But you got a little obsessed”
Daiber: “Nope! But I called on the phone…”
Rodríguez: “I’m scared”

Daiber: “One week. And he told me ‘I’m celebrating my birthday on Thursday, I’ll celebrate it at a disco, come here’. I arrived with my squad of friends and I dance lousy, but I still try to put color on it, so it looked like a kind of ostrich in a state of intoxication. I swear it was a frightening thing and I danced and moved everywhere”
Rodríguez: “And what did your friends tell you?”
Daiber: “’Friend, calm down, things are not going around here.’ And he looked at me, I said ‘he will be looking at me with a face of love or what a ridiculous face’. He suddenly goes and greets me and I hug him as if I had known him all my life. I hung on his neck. And there he asked me to dance, another challenge, he seemed electrocuted trying to dance with him “
Rodríguez: “Were you hanging out with Kika Silva there?”
Daiber: “Nope. Kikita did not accompany me on that reel”
Rodríguez: “Were you hanging out with Tita?”
Daiber: “Either. I didn’t take them. It’s just that I had to show off, how was I going to take Kika and Tita? Neither stupid nor lazy. After a week’s effort trying to move the issue, it would have been tripping me up on my own.

Daiber: “The kiss was not so good at first, to be honest, but I have always believed in that thing of love at first sight.
