Beginnings in stand-up

“I was a waiter in a place in Puente Alto and we did stand up at night. When we collected the bills from the clients, he took advantage of passing the information that there would be a comedy show”he added.

Michaux revealed that after his first forays, at the same time he was finishing his photography degree, which posed a personal challenge for him regarding his future, where he finally chose to dedicate himself to stand-up.

Regarding the content of his humorous routines, he indicates that: “I have stories and anecdotes that cause laughter and one writes them down as if they were jokes. I carry my notebook everywhere and I have one per year”.

“You also write down the jokes that make people laugh the most,” he said.

Pass through La Huincha and the Olmué Festival

A great achievement in his humorous career was having won the TVN television program, La Huincha, which allowed him to appear at the Olmué Huaso Festival in 2020.

On his time on television, he added that: “It was shocking and I entered for a very simple reason. To have stand up work you have to have videos of the routine and I wanted to show it on TV”.

“The following year we went to the Huaso de Olmué, I imagined the festivals with a lot of glamor and being a more adult audience, we changed the routine a bit, without so many young references, taking out some doodles but without being fome,” he revealed.

In addition, the standup artist expressed his desire to attend the Viña del Mar Festival, one of the most important stages in Latin America. “It is a dream of many comedians and I would like to be. It is a very big challenge and I dream of it too”.
