Announcer Im Hyun-joo (37) is getting married to British writer Daniel Tudor (40).
On the 13th, Lim Hyun-joo posted on his Instagram, “I have a person I want to love and cherish for the rest of my life. It’s Daniel Tudor, with a warm smile and a wonderful heart.”
He confessed, “Originally, when we fall in love, every moment is like a miracle. Our meeting was a series of coincidences. I read Daniel’s book, and as a result, that book connected us.”
He continued, “The two of us, who have been working as reporters and announcers, are writing. Taking on challenges and being curious about various experiences are also a lot of fun,” he said. Above all, I learn a lot from Daniel, who is always considerate of others.”

Announcer Lim graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University and joined MBC in 2013 after working as a JTBC announcer in 2011. Daniel Tudor worked as a Korean correspondent for the British economic weekly ‘The Economist’ for three years from 2010. He has since been passionate about business. In 2013, he founded ‘The Booth’, a craft beer company, and in 2016 worked as a founding member of a web novel platform. He is also currently representing the Mind Lesson, which is operating a meditation app elephant in partnership with Monk Hyemin.
