Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ukrainian Interior Ministry adviser, Viktor Androsev, announced today, Tuesday, that a Russian soldier handed over his tank to the Ukrainian forces, to receive a reward for that.
Androsev confirmed that the Russian soldier will now receive a reward of 10 thousand US dollars, according to the British “Sky News” network.
He added that the Ukrainian forces “received a call from a man who referred to him as “Misha” (a term used by Ukrainians for Russian soldiers), a few days ago.” Later, the security services confirmed that the offer of surrender was real.
After the Ukrainian forces made sure that it was not a trap, via a drone, the special forces detained the soldier, and it turned out that he was the only one remaining from the tank crew, while the rest escaped.
