In Geneva, municipal swimming pools have a new gender-neutral dress code

It will now be possible to swim topless or fully covered in Geneva swimming pools. Meeting this Wednesday evening, the Geneva City Council followed up on a draft deliberation tabled by the left in June 2020. The proposal required that the regulations for municipal swimming pools be devoid of their gendered mention, and therefore authorize all outfits “ decent and appropriate” in the city’s pools.
