A bit of geology, a hint of history and a pinch of music: this is the program that will be offered twice this Saturday, June 18 in Prêles (from 10:20 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:20 p.m. to 5 p.m.) by Chasseral Park.
After a 30-minute walk to reach the site, geologist Thierry Basset will tell the story of the Twannberg meteorite, the largest ever found in Switzerland. Metallic, of a very rare type, it comes from the explosion of an asteroid 176,000 years ago, which caused a rain of stones on Mont-Sujet. The musicians Emilie Vuissoz and Didier Métrailler will present a sound creation inspired by this story, which the public will listen to in “immersion” thanks to wireless headphones. The date is…
