Al-Marsad Newspaper: Clinical nutrition consultant, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Othman, said that the widespread “keto” diet is unhealthy and not scientifically approved.
Al-Othman added, during his appearance on the Ya Hala program, that the current keto diet is similar to keto, because keto is applied to specific patients.
He added that keto is applied to patients with epilepsy and cancer, and a careful program is being prepared for them and trained in hospitals.
Al-Othman concluded his statements that the current keto diet is not recognized by any party, and it may be useful at the temporary level for a period of 3 months.
