In the video, a specialist reveals a treatment that stops baldness, and a surprise about the percentage of infected men and women in the Kingdom

Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Salman Al-Mutairi, a hair transplant specialist, revealed the main cause of baldness.

Al-Mutairi said, during his appearance on the 120 program, via Al-Ekhbariya channel, that the main cause of baldness is genetic hair loss, whether in women or men.

And he continued, “In this case, there is a topical drug that has proven effective in stopping baldness by 80%, which is “Mino Xidyl”, in addition to pills that are taken orally.”

Al-Mutairi advised using this topical medication whenever symptoms begin to appear, to avoid reaching the later stages of baldness.

He explained that a small percentage of people may be allergic to this drug, and they may have a slight redness or crust.

He pointed out that the rate of baldness in men in the Kingdom reaches 58%, and reached 42% in women, as they suffer from hair loss in general, according to recent statistics that were made in 2021.
