INDH and Tibu Africa launch the TIBU Ouled Azzouz multidisciplinary center

The National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) and the NGO Tibu Africa launched, Monday in the province of Nouaceur, the multidisciplinary center for education through sport for the benefit of the youth of the commune of Ouled Azzouz.

Set up in partnership with the INDH within the “Abdelouahed El Morrakouchi” primary school, the TIBU Ouled Azzouz sports education center was inaugurated by the governor of the Province of Nouaceur Abdallah Chater and the founding president of the NGO Tibu Africa, Mohamed Amine Zariat, in the presence of civil society actors and beneficiaries as well as their families.

On this occasion, work was launched at the level of the center for the development of a physical education room and the creation of a mini-football field.

The TIBU Ouled Azzouz center aims to develop the motor, cognitive and socio-affective skills of young people aged between 6 and 13 years old.

For Mohamed Amine Zariat, Founding President of Tibu Africa, “in these times, the education, emancipation and empowerment of young girls and children become urgent and precious subjects. With the opening of this new center, we will be able to enroll a hundred young people to find, through the power of sport, the path to empowerment and educational success”.

“The values that we seek to transmit to children during our sports sessions and activities are essential to their future professional integration,” he said.

It should be noted that the Tibu Ouled Azzouz Center for Education through Sport by the INDH is the result of an exemplary collaboration between the NGO Tibu Africa, the INDH through program 4 and the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.

Following an initial selection, 700 girls and boys aged between 6 and 13 were registered free of charge to participate in a regular program three times a week. These young people will be supervised by educators experienced in social change through sport and who have been trained and recruited by the organization Tibu Africa.

This project will contribute to the promotion of the personal development of children through sport and more specifically Basketball, Football and Tennis, as well as it will create full-time jobs for the inhabitants of the commune of Ouled Azzouz.
