Later on July 3, the Indian Twenty20 team will play a training match against Northamptonshire.

India have not yet announced their squad for the Twenty20 series against Ireland and England. The Indian Test players will miss the Twenty20 series against Ireland but will be able to play in the series against England.

Former India captain VVS Kumar, who heads the National Cricket Academy (NCA), will be in charge of the Indian Twenty20 team playing in the Twenty20 series against Ireland, while the Test team will be led by head coach Rahul Dravid.
