Soon, the Instagram may allow you to more precisely control who can see when you like other people’s posts.
That’s because, as seen by an X user, the network is testing a new option for the “Who can see your content” section in the app’s privacy settings, called “Likes you’ve made”.
As you can see in the screenshots above, Instagram is developing four ways to manage who can see your likes on posts. Among them, you can let everyone see that you liked something, limit it to people you follow or just your Close Friends, as well as hide it from everyone.
The resource page also highlights that the account that made the post can always see that you liked it.
It is worth noting that the new feature is still in the testing phase and there is no official release date — if the network will in fact make this new feature available to everyone.
