The Investigation Department confirmed, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that the judicial authorities had issued (74) arrest and recruitment orders in cases that were investigated by the commission’s investigation directorates and offices in Baghdad and the provinces and referred to the judiciary, indicating that the orders issued for the period from (1-31/12) /2022) included (68) senior officials with higher ranks, noting that the orders were distributed between (14) arrest orders and (60) recruitment orders.
The department added, “The orders issued and executed included arrest and recruitment orders against a former minister, (7) former ministers, a former deputy minister, and (3) former ministers.”
She explained that “the arrest and recruitment orders included current and former governors, (12) former governors, as well as (11) current general directors, (16) former and (4) former general managers, and the lists of arrest and recruitment orders included (9) ) from the former members of the provincial councils.
