More than three hundred Casino hypermarkets and supermarkets will be bought by the Intermarché group allied with Auchan, franceinfo has learned.

The Intermarché distribution group, allied with Auchan, will buy 320 hypermarkets and supermarkets from Casino, franceinfo learned from a source close to the matter on Monday, December 18, confirming information from the newspaper Les Echos.
This takeover is not yet official, but the Casino group will announce it in a press release in the afternoon, specifies this source. The offer from the consortium formed by Intermarché and Auchan exceeded that of Lidl and Carrefour, she continues. In May, Casino announced the sale of 119 stores to Intermarché, a first wave at the beginning of October, a second within three years.
