iOS 16: a new “Copy and delete” option for screenshots

iOS 16 Beta 5 doesn’t just bring battery percentage indication on notched iPhones (not all). Another new feature will make life easier for anyone who snaps a lot of screenshots with their iPhones.

In the workbench for editing a screenshot, a new option Copy and Delete appears in the settings, appearing after pressing the OK button. This allows you to copy the image to the clipboard to paste it into a new message or email, without having to save it to the smartphone’s photo gallery. A gallery that tends to bend under the weight of countless useless screenshots stored there over the years.

Remember that it is already possible in iOS 15 (and previous versions) to delete a screenshot after having shared it (via the appropriate menu), without cluttering the iPhone gallery.
