Taiwan’s largest mobile phone distributor Shenao has announced the best-selling mobile phone rankings for 2023. Apple dominates the top two, with the best-selling champion being the iPhone 14 series, and the iPhone 15 series taking the runner-up spot. The iPhone 14 series accounts for 18% of overall sales. Although the iPhone 15 series was only launched in September, it also successfully captured 15%.
Samsung A14, S23 series, and A54 ranked 3rd to 5th. It can be seen that in the Android camp, whether it is a flagship or mid-to-low-end mobile phone, Samsung is still the preferred brand for Taiwanese people.
OPPO also performed well, with OPPO A78 and Reno 8 series ranking 6th and 7th respectively. As for the 8th to 10th places, they are Redmi 10, Samsung A34, and vivo Y27.

Shen Nao added that although the HTC U23 series did not enter the top 10 best-sellers of the year, driven by the U23 series, HTC became the mobile phone brand with the largest sales increase this year, and OPPO also grew by 10%. Looking forward to next year’s trend, “AI mobile phones” will become popular.
Overall, the ratio of Taiwanese people choosing the Android and Apple camps is about 6:4, and the ratio of tariff and empty phone is about 9:1. New phones will be launched one after another in the second half of the year, driving the trend of “replacing old phones with new ones”. The sales and recycling of Shennao second-hand mobile phone trading platform have increased significantly this year. The sales volume of second-hand mobile phones has doubled compared with last year, especially second-hand iPhones. It is so popular that the recycling volume of second-hand mobile phones has also increased by 50%.
