Avocado is one of the fruits that contain a lot of minerals and vitamins that the body needs, and Dr. Svetlana Pavlichenko, a Russian cardiologist, revealed the positive effect of avocado on the work of the heart because it contains important mineral elements.

The specialist notes that avocados contain potassium, which is responsible for transmitting nerve signals to the heart muscles. And that replacing animal fats with unsaturated vegetable fats reduces the risk of death from heart disease by 24-26 percent, according to “Russia Today.”

And she adds, avocados contain silicon, boron and nickel elements, which help improve metabolism.

“Avocado is distinguished, in addition to unsaturated fatty acids, in natural antioxidants, vitamins and dietary fiber. Together, these substances help absorb each other and enhance their positive effect in the body,” she says.

She points out that there are no contraindications to eating avocado, except for an individual allergy to the fruit. It must also be taken into account that it contains a large amount of calories.
