We had the chance to chat with the finalists of the island of love a few days after their return to Quebec.
Enya and Kevin had hopes of taking top honors, but they realized why they lost out to Lorie and Hugo when they saw the shows. ” They were more on the screens than us says Kevin.
He goes on to say: We had zero conflict between us [entre lui et Enya, NDLR], it meant that we had downtime. When we listened to the show, I found that we weren’t seen much. The bickering is what gives screen time. When they showed clips to test couples, Enya and I had videos in there, but they didn’t show them because we didn’t fight. We settled things when it happened. It was often said that the strong point of our couple was communication, but we weren’t seen to communicate. Precisely, when we saw the excerpts from the situations that they wanted to be embarrassing, these were things that we had settled the same day so, when they put them, we did not react, so the production team asked us to react, but we told them: “No, everything is already settled”.
