Israel announces the detection of two new cases of the Corona virus

Quds: The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that it had detected two cases of a new, unknown mutant of the Corona virus, whose symptoms were not dangerous, between the two mutant (B1) and (B2).

According to the statement of the Ministry of Health, “The mutant is not yet known to the world, and the two cases were discovered during examinations conducted at Ben Gurion Airport upon entering Israel.”

“The injured had mild symptoms of fever, headache and muscle aches, and they did not need any special medical care,” he added.

According to the coordinator of the Corona file, Salman Zarqa, “the phenomenon of compound mutant is well known.”

“At this stage, we are not worried,” he told Israel Army Radio.

In light of the renewed registration of high numbers of injuries in the world, the office of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced his intention to hold a meeting with officials in the Ministry of Health.

Several countries witnessed the spread of the mutant (B2), and the World Health Organization indicated at the end of last February that it is no more dangerous than the mutant (B1).

Health vaccination passport

And last month, Israel stopped dealing with the health vaccination permit, or the “green badge,” and since the beginning of this month has reopened its borders to the unvaccinated.

Passengers arriving at the borders of the Hebrew state are subject to a virus verification test.

Since the outbreak of the virus in February 2020, Israel has counted more than 3,700,000 cases of the virus, in addition to more than 10,300 deaths.

Israel was one of the first countries to launch an ambitious vaccination campaign in December 2020 after signing an agreement with the American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer.
