Gaza: Despite the cease-fire, Israeli reports of continued firing in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. A Palestinian farmer was killed and another injured in an attack on the Magazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Eight Palestinians, including a child, were killed when Israeli forces opened fire on protesters in the West Bank. Six people were killed in Jenin and 3 in other places. 6 people were injured. This brings the number of people killed in the West Bank to 239 since October 7. This will include 52 children. So far 15,000 people have been killed in the war in Gaza. 6000 of them are children.
Hamas released 13 Israeli hostages last night, the third day of the ceasefire. In addition to this, Hamas handed over three people from Thailand and a Russian citizen unconditionally and Israel released 39 Palestinians in prisons. Thousands took to the streets in Ramallah to celebrate the release of Palestinian prisoners.
