Japanese Prime Minister Kishida: Russian sanctions are absolutely unacceptable

Japanese Defense Minister Noubo Kishi and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said the sanctions announced by Russia are absolutely unacceptable. This is reported by the TV channel NHK.

They clarified that it was Russia that turned to military measures, as a result of which this conflict arose.

“Responsibility for the current state of Russian-Japanese relations lies entirely with Russia. Despite this, the Russian Federation made a similar statement. We believe that this is absolutely unacceptable,” Kishida said.

According to Kisi, such steps in the future could create a precedent for “closing opportunities for dialogue and the path to isolation.”

Recall that earlier the Russian Foreign Ministry published a list of Japanese nationals who are now denied entry to Russia. It included Fumio Kishida, Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, Nobuo Kishi and 63 other people.
