Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Criminal Court in Jeddah convicted 18 defendants, including 17 male and female citizens, in addition to a resident of Syrian nationality, who used and possessed 8 types of drugs following they took a chalet as a place to gather.

The sources stated, according to “Okaz” newspaper, that the conviction verdict included the consumption and possession of cocaine, shabu, and hashish in a dissolute evening, and the verdicts included imprisonment and a travel ban.

The sources quoted, according to the newspaper, that among the convicts were businessmen and women, merchants, a marketing director, and students at the faculties of nursing and pharmacy.

The Court of Appeal approved the sentences following the convicts submitted objection notes to the sentences, and the total prison sentences amounted to 80 years, in addition to a consequential penalty by preventing them from traveling for varying periods.
