The WINTER TALENT DAY aims to get children and young people with physical and visual disabilities excited about sport and to arouse interest in Paralympic sports. The target group of the campaign by the Austrian Paralympic Committee and the Austrian Ski Association are children and young people between the ages of 8 and 20. Parents and anyone interested will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with sports professionals. The BMKÖS supports the campaign, which will premiere on January 5, 2024 in the Hinterstoder ski area in Upper Austria.
On TALENT DAY, various Paralympic winter sports can be tried out under professional guidance. For example: para-alpine skiing, para-snowboarding, para-cross-country skiing.
Paralympic stars are there to help and advise and share their passion Next Generation further. Sports prostheses and equipment can also be tested.
