It’s official. Mr. Reynald Pedros is no longer the national coach of the Atlas Lionesses. The Spaniard Jorge Vilda Rodriguez who was on the bench of 2023 World Champion Spain is now the new coach of the Lionesses ”A”.
A press release from the FRMF clarifies the situation:
“The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has enlisted the services of Spanish technician Jorge Vilda Rodriguez to coach the Women’s National “A” Team.
Mr. Rodriguez was appointed to replace Mr. Reynald Pedros following the end of his mission.
On this occasion, the FRMF expressed its thanks to Mr. Reynald Pedros for the work accomplished at the head of the Women’s National Team “A” which was crowned by the historic qualification for the round of 16 of the Australia World Cup -New Zealand 2023.
The new coach of the Atlas Lionesses won the last edition of the FIFA World Cup with the Spanish Selection.”
