New information was released this afternoon about the incidents where street vendors shot three people in the Meiggs neighborhood, one of whom is in life-threatening condition. While the Government announced a lawsuit, the mayors of Santiago and Central Station called for combating the gangs that carry out street trading.
Carabinieri confirmed that a woman remains life-threatening after being shot in the middle of the incidents that occurred this Sunday in the barrio Meiggson the border of the communes of Santiago and Estación Central.
Meanwhile, the Government, through the Presidential Delegation of the Metropolitan region, will sue for what happened.

Government will sue

For her part, the communal chief of Santiago, Irací Hasslerexpressed that both municipalities will file their own legal actions to pursue those responsible.
