MUMBAI – The Mumbai Police has announced that a case will soon be registered on the complaint that a 17-year-old Malayali girl was molested by two women who were her mother’s friends and one of her boyfriends. A Kurla resident nurse with family roots in Mavelikara filed a complaint against those who tortured her daughter. The girl recently revealed about the harassment that happened two years ago after a long counseling session. Then the complaint was filed.
The boy lost his father at the age of twelve. Subsequently, the long-time friend was given shelter from 2019 to 2022 in a flat in Kurla with only mother and daughter. It is alleged that this woman and another woman who is her friend sexually assaulted her daughter after giving her alcohol while the mother was away on duty. Once a male friend of one of them also came to the house and tried to molest the child.
The accused took nude photos and videos and threatened the child to kill her mother and release the pictures and videos if she spoke about it. After the incident, the child was in severe mental stress. When he started showing mental disturbances, he was first taken to Navi Mumbai and later there for counselling. According to the mother’s complaint, the child opened up about what had happened.
Then the counseling institute informed Kerala Police and Childline. Kollam police transferred the case to Kurla police station as the torture took place in Mumbai. Advocate Tanveer Nizam said that justice will be ensured for the abused child.
