The National Electoral Board closed the way before the UCR’s attempt to add the ballots with its municipal candidates in Jacobacci and Sierra Grande to the presidential list headed by Patricia Bullrich.

The Río Negro District Court, made up of federal chambermaid Mariano Lozano, the president of the provincial STJ, Liliana Piccinini, and federal judge Hugo Greca, resolved that this agreement established by representatives of Together for Change with leaders of Rio Negro radicalism It is not valid.

On the contrary, the magistrates understood that The qualification to join the Bullrich ballot corresponds to the local candidates of Cambia Río Negro, that in those two locations they present themselves with different lists than the one promoted by the UCR.

In this way, Justice resolved in the first instance the conflict derived from internal disputes within the opposition coalition in the province, where the different projects of the PRO president and national deputy, Aníbal Tortoriello, and Bullrich’s top representative in Río Negro, legislator Juan Martín, were exposed.

As the national alliance has among its members the PRO, the CC-ARI and the UCR, from the Martín sector progress was made with an agreement so that the radicalism candidates in Jacobacci and in Sierra Grande could present themselves in the elections on 22 October “stuck” on the same Bullrich ballot.

Actually, It was a “two-way” play. because in those two towns radicalism accompanies the candidates for mayor of Juntos Somos Río Negro with its own candidates for the Council: José Mellado in Jacobacci and Roxana Fernández in Sierra Grande.

The representatives of Cambia Río Negro-Juntos por el Cambio, who are part of the Tortoriello sector, objected to this strategy and after analyzing the existing documentation – mainly the constituent acts of the alliance at the national level and in the districts – the National Electoral Board He agreed with them.

The judges understood that the “legal link” between the national alliance Together for Change was with the Cambia Río Negro-Together for Change alliance in the district, therefore it will be that group that will be able to annex its local candidates to the presidential formula, including in that resolution the town of Coronel Belisle, in the Middle Valley.

The resolution, issued on Tuesday and notified yesterday to the attorneys, includes the officialization of all the ballots for the municipal and national elections that will be held on October 22 in Río Negro.

In that sense, the Justicialista Party was authorized to add its local candidates in Sierra Grande, Sierra Colorada, Jacobacci, Belisle and Chichinales to the Union for the Homeland ballots in the categories of president and vice, Mercosur parliamentarians and national deputies.

The same thing happened with Together We Are Río Negro, which will be able to present its municipal candidates in Sierra Grande, Jacobacci and Belisle on the same ballot that Luis Di Giacomo will lead for the national council.
