Juventus send opening offer to Kalulu, consider Chiesa swap with Milan

Juventus have sent an opening offer to sign Pierre Kalulu from Milan, but according to Tuttosport, the two clubs are also considering a swap deal for Federico Chiesa and Alexis Saelemaekers.

Juventus are looking to sign a new defender this summer and Milan’s Pierre Kalulu is the latest name to be added to their wish list. Matteo Moretto and Tuttosport newspaper claim that the Bianconeri have already sent a formal offer to sign Kalulu on loan for €3 million. The offer includes a €14 million buy-back option in 2025 and a 10% sell-on clause.

Milan have already signed Strahinja Pavlović and will soon announce Emerson Royal from Tottenham, but they prefer to sell Kalulu on a permanent transfer, so the Bianconeri’s proposal has not yet been accepted.

Meanwhile, according to another report from Tuttosport, Juventus and Milan have been in contact regarding a possible swap deal between Chiesa and Saelemaekers.

Chiesa is on the market for technical and financial reasons, given that he will not sign a new contract with his deal expiring next year, while Saelemaekers has returned to Milan after a convincing loan spell at Bologna under Thiago Motta.

Talks are not at an advanced stage, but according to Tuttosport, Juventus and Milan have opened preliminary discussions regarding a possible swap deal.

Chiesa’s agent Fali Ramadani also recently visited Casa Milan to discuss the future of Luka Jovic, another of his clients under contract with the Rossoneri.
