Davichi Kang Min-kyung’s father and older brother have been accused of real estate fraud.
On the 6th, Kang Min-kyung’s side said that it was “confirming” the report that father A and brother B were accused of fraud.
On this day, SBS Entertainment News reported that Mr. A and Mr. B signed a land development contract worth 1.2 billion won while running a real estate development company, and were sued by investors on the 2nd for failing to keep it.
According to the report, the plaintiffs believed in the agreement in 2017 that ‘develop the contracted land into a housing site within two years, but if not, repay twice the principal of the land development’, and through Mr. entered into an investment contract.
However, the land has not been developed for six years.
The plaintiffs asked Mr. A to fulfill the contract when Mr. Han was arrested for fraud.
In response, the complainants claim that Mr. A verbally promised to repurchase the investment or compensate with other land, but did not keep it.
Kang Min-kyung’s father, Mr. A, appealed for regret through SBS Entertainment News. It is reported that Mr. A counter-sued her accusers for defamation.
