Karunanidhi’s next generation to cabinet in Tamil Nadu; Udayanidhi Stalin will become Minister

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son, MLA from Chepauk, Chennai, actor and producer Udayanidhi Stalin is reported to be in the cabinet. It is reported that Udayanidhi, known as ‘Chinnavar’ among the party ranks, will be sworn in as a minister on Wednesday. There are also indications that there will be a change in the departments of some other ministers. Rumors about this became stronger when the pictures of the new office being prepared for Udayanidhi came out.

Udayanidhi also won this time from Karunanidhi’s constituency. In the first election after Karunanidhi’s death, voters sent Udayanidhi to the Legislative Assembly with a record majority from a safe constituency. Senior leaders, including DMK ministers, had demanded that he be given a ministerial berth. Since then, the question of when Udayanidhi will reach the cabinet was strong.

The information coming out is that Udayanidhi will get the Department of Public Welfare, Sports and Youth Affairs. Department of Public Welfare is the department that implements various welfare schemes of the government. Presently Chief Minister MK Stalin is managing this department. All the flagship projects of the government come under this department. If not this department, then the youth affairs and sports departments are waiting for Udayanidhi, according to the party’s close sources.

Minister K.R. There are also hints that the rural development managed by Periyakaruppan may reach the Chinnavas. In that case, there will be a small shake-up in the cabinet. Some departments will change. But it is indicated that none of the current ministers will be changed.
