Kate Middleton chose a sober look to show her support for Ukraine

Aware of the powerful message that your fashion choices can convey, the duchess of cambridge opted for a blue Alexander McQueen sweater matching the Ukrainian flag, which she combined with navy blue pants and Gianvito Rossi heels. Both she and Prince William wore blue and yellow badges, in yet another show of her support.

Shortly after it started russian invasion of ukraine, the royal shared a message expressing their solidarity with the Ukrainian people. “In October 2020, we had the privilege of meeting with President Zelenskyy and the First Lady to hear about their hope and optimism for the future of Ukraine,” the Duke and Duchess wrote on Twitter. “Today we stand with the president and all the people of Ukraine as they bravely fight for that future.”
