Kawhi Leonard and Paul George back on Saturday against the Kings?

Since November 19, we haven’t seen the Kawhi Leonard – Paul George duo play together on an NBA court. It’s starting to weigh but fortunately it’s about to stop. The latest news from Los Angeles is indeed encouraging.

According to Ohm Youngmisuk’sESPNthere is a scenario in which Kawhi and PG-13 take to the floor of the Crypto.com Arena as soon as this Saturday for the game against Sacramento. The two All-Stars actually returned to training on Friday and could thus put on their sneakers tomorrow, or at the latest next week for the Clippers’ road trip to the Eastern Conference.

Inevitably there is something to smile about in the City of Angels. Certainly, the Clippers limit the breakage without their leaders with a record of 2 wins – 3 losses since November 23but at some point the two gugus will have to come back to allow the LA team to really ramp up in order to achieve the big goals set by owner Steve Ballmer.

Just as a reminder, Kawhi Leonard is currently out because of a sore ankle, not because of his knee quirks that kept him sidelined for consecutive games between late October and mid-November. As for Paul George, it’s the hamstring that has been acting up recently, forcing him to miss six games in a row after appearing in 16 of his team’s first 17 games.

Let’s now hope that the star-studded Clippers duo will manage to stay together on the court to gain momentum on an individual level (especially for Kawhi…), because it’s been a while since we’ve seen the two stars hit together. Since the 2021 Playoffs in fact, and Leonard’s big injury against the Jazz…

“We will see how they feel in training [avant de prendre une décision sur une participation au prochain match]. But they are progressing really well. »
