National Lottery Response and Next Steps
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer highlighted the timing of the windfall. “What a fantastic way to kick off the Halloween weekend for one EuroMillions player in Kildare, who has become Ireland’s newest National Lottery millionaire after winning an incredible €1,005,000 in Friday night’s special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle draw,” O’Dwyer said. He also pointed out that October proved exceptionally lucrative for Irish players, featuring four €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize winners before this latest seven-figure success.
Lottery authorities have already dispatched an automated email notification to the online account associated with the Kildare winner. Officials advise the fortunate punter to sign the back of their digital receipt details, keep the information secure, and contact the Prize Claims team at 1800 666 222 or via email at [email protected] to arrange a visit to National Lottery headquarters in Dublin for collection.
