Kinto Commuter App: Save CO2 and Costs with Internal Carpooling

2023-07-13 07:00:00

The “Commuter App” from Toyota’s mobility brand Kinto for internal carpooling is getting new functions. Not only drivers can record and document their CO2 and cost savings, but also all employees of a company who come to work with low emissions, such as pedestrians, cyclists, public transport users and mobile workers. Thanks to the commuter app and 1,300 registered users, around 17,000 kilograms of CO2 have been saved since November 2021.

With just a few clicks, employees can find each other in an internal company network and carpool with the commuter app. This saves emissions, which every user can view in their individual statistics. The application is a white label solution: companies can use the app in corporate branding with their own name and logo. Thanks to the new multilocation development, companies with multiple locations can now integrate them all. Cities can also create an offer for all local companies. This enables all participating companies to network with one another and generates the greatest possible benefit for local employees. (aum)
