The rumor had been circulating since the end of the afternoon and it was finally around 6 p.m. that the news was confirmed by the Live Nation team.

“The show is canceled due to a health problem in one of the members of the group,” Tonisha Bath, director of communications and marketing at Live Nation, confirmed to Le Droit. This is why the group was unable to go on stage tonight.”

Inside the CCT, everything was ready to receive Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer. The huge stage was set up, as were the dozens of merchandise counters.

Ottawa was on Kiss’ agenda for the End of the Road farewell tour which began last year.

The New Yorkers had stopped in Quebec and Montreal in recent days and they are scheduled to perform Wednesday at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

The tour is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, December 2, at Madison Square Garden in New York, when the band will then perform their final performance which will also be available on ppv.com (Pay per View).
