Klöckner Pentaplast: Increase in PET film volumes in North America

The film specialist Klöckner Pentaplast (KP, Montabaur) has announced further details of its USA expansion plans: The packaging manufacturer will invest several million USD in the production and processing of PET and recycled PET films at its production facility in Beaver, West Virginia / USA .

The project includes an extrusion line and two thermoformers. The first thermoforming line is scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2022; the extrusion line will then follow in the middle of next year 2023. The completion of the second deep-drawing line and a new production hall, which should enable further capacity expansions in the future, are planned for the end of the fourth quarter of 2023.
