Korean Air has finished issuing direct tickets for the professional volleyball men’s championship match.

Korean Air recorded a complete victory over KB Insurance 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-21) in the Dodram 2022-2023 V-League Men’s visiting match held at Uijeongbu Gymnasium in Gyeonggi Province on the 10th.

Korean Air (25-9), which added 3 points with the victory that day, recorded 74 points and ran away from 2nd place Hyundai Capital (22-12, 66 points) by 8 points.

Even if Hyundai Capital wins 3 points each in the remaining two matches, it will no longer be able to outperform Korean Air.

As a result, Korean Air has risen to the top of the regular league for three consecutive seasons from the 2020-2021 season.

It is the second time in history that a team with three consecutive losses in the regular league has emerged in the men’s professional volleyball division, and it is only eight seasons since Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in the 2014-2015 season.

At that time, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance left a record of winning four consecutive seasons from the 2011-2012 season.

If Korean Air wins the championship game this season, it will also be able to leave a record of winning the championship for the second consecutive year in the men’s professional volleyball team after Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance won the combined championship for three consecutive years from the 2011-2012 season to the 2013-2014 season.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance finished first in the regular league in the 2014-2015 season, but lost all three matches against OK Savings Bank (now OK Financial Group) in the championship game.
