″Everyone must join forces to prevent this runaway and regression of the Yoon Seok-yeol regime and to prove that this country is still a progressive country and a country moving forward. That’s right, everyone.″

To emphasize that it is a coalition party led by the Democratic Party, the name of the party was set as ‘Democratic Coalition Together’, and Democratic Party lawmaker Yoon Young-deok and recruit Baek Seung-ah were appointed as co-representatives.

Of the 30 proportional candidates scheduled to run, 3 each from the New Progressive Alliance and the Progressive Party, 4 from civil society, and the remaining 20 will be filled by the Democratic Party.

″The unity of the opposition is a sure victory. Everyone, let us win without fail together with our people.”

Former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk’s Cho Kuk Innovation Party, which will be competing for proportional seats in the progressive camp, also held its founding convention today.

Former Minister Cho Kuk, who was elected as the party leader, emphasized that he was a “clear opposition party” with a determination to “put an early end to the dictatorial regime of Prosecutor Yoon Seok-yeol.”

“Fire turns blue when it’s hottest. Let’s become the hottest blue fire and burn down the prosecution dictatorship.″

Lee Nak-yeon, leader of New Future, met yesterday with former President Lim Jong-seok, former chief of staff who was excluded from the Democratic Party nomination, and today spoke with Rep. Seol Hoon, who announced his candidacy as an independent, and Rep. Hong Young-pyo, who is contemplating his next move.

Rep. Hong, a key member of the “pro-Moon Jae-in group,” actually announced his intention to leave the party on social media, saying, “We are gathering our hearts with those who are wronged, angry, and disappointed. The time to stand up is finally approaching.”
