The under-18 youth basketball team achieved its first victory in the Arab Championship currently being held in Cairo, at the expense of the Saudi team, with a score of 79-62 in the fourth round of the tournament, which witnessed the Algerian victory over Qatar 87-60, and Egypt over the UAE 125-33.
Our team faced the UAE team late this evening in the last round of competitions, and if it wins, the Qatari team will meet once more for the bronze medal.
Our team is preparing through the tournament for the Gulf Championship qualifying for the Asian finals (Tehran 2022), which will be held in Dubai at the end of this month.
