Lack of drinking water causes mood swings, difficulty concentrating, and feeling tired and exhausted

Drinking a sufficient amount of water during the month of Ramadan is one of the most important challenges, given the limited time to break the fast and some people’s lack of interest in drinking liquids during the hours of breaking the fast.

The National Center for Mental Health Promotion confirmed that lack of drinking water causes mood swings, difficulty concentrating and thinking, and a feeling of fatigue and exhaustion, which affects the mental health of the individual.

The center explained that the body needs 6 to 8 cups of water during the day, calling for drinking a sufficient amount of water during breakfast hours without excess.
