What is in Russia

Jedvay left Lokomotiv and went to Greece

Croatian defender of Lokomotiv Tin Edvay moved to Panathinaikos on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season. The Greek club has a buyout right, according to the official telegram of the Moscow team.

Recall that the 27-year-old Edvay became a Lokomotiv player in the summer of 2021. He has 41 matches and two goals for the red-greens.
In December 2022, the Croat was loaned to Emirati club Al Ain.

Krasnodar player moved to Cherchesov’s team

Ecuadorian defender of Krasnodar Christian Ramirez will continue his career in the Hungarian Ferencváros. The clubs agreed on all the details of the transfer, informs press service of the Russian side.

Ramirez has already played for Ferencvaros in 2015-2017. Now Ferencvaros is headed by the former coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov.

Spartak refused the free champion of the Premier League

Spartak refused to take a free agent to the team Daniela Amarti, informed journalist Khrach Khachatryan in social networks. The 28-year-old Ghana’s contract expired this June with Leicester, who were relegated from the Premier League.

Amarti has been with the Foxes since the winter of 2016 and managed to win an Premier League gold medal. It is reported that Daniel was ready to move to Moscow on a salary of 2.5-3 million euros per year, however, Spartak showed no interest in a potential deal.

Amarti made 20 Premier League appearances last season.

What’s in Europe

Ex-forward “Dynamo” moved to “Ibiza”

Russian striker Nikolai Obolsky signed a contract with Ibiza, which at the end of the 2022/23 season flew out of the Segunda and will now play in the third division of Spain. 26-year-old Obolsky signed an agreement with a new team under the 1 + 1 scheme.

Last season, Nikolai played for the Spanish “Cultural Leones” (this is the same third division of Spain). The statistics are very solid: 36 matches, nine goals and six assists.

Obolsky was in the Dynamo Moscow system in 2013–2020, he scored 17 matches for the blue and white team. In 2020, Nikolai appeared in the Roma media football team, with which he won the Moscow Celebrity Cup, becoming the top scorer with eight goals tournament.

Arsenal announce Timber, next Rice

Arsenal announce bid for 22-year-old Ajax defender Yurien Timber. The deal amounted to 40 million euros. Timber became Arsenal’s second signing in the summer transfer window after Kai Havertz joined Chelsea’s Mikel Arteta.

The next signing for Arsenal is 24-year-old England midfielder Declan Rice.

Belgian from Lens is a record transfer for RB Leipzig

Lance top scorer Loi Openda moved to RB Leipzig, signing a five-year contract with the German club. The deal will be fixed at between €43m and €46m, the biggest inbound transfer in RB Leipzig’s history.

Belgian Openda scored 21 goals in 38 Ligue 1 games last season, becoming Lance’s top scorer.

Bayern told Mane to look for a new club

Bayern forward Sadio Mane received official permission from the club to look for a new job, informed journalist Georg Holzner in social networks. In the course of last season, Mane had a fight in the locker room with teammate Leroy Sane and broke his lip – after that, the future of the Senegalese in the Munich club was in serious doubt. Now Manet has been officially notified: they don’t count on him in the new season.

Manet, 31, can follow the example of many European stars to move to the Middle East. Al-Ahly, Al-Nasr and Al-Ittifaq are among the contenders for Sadio.
