Héctor Acuña: “the Inter-American Court “is above” the Constitutional Court”
Héctor Acuña, congressman from the Alianza para el Progreso caucus, referred to the request of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (Court-IDH) to the Peruvian authorities to suspend the release of former President of the Republic, Alberto Fujimori.
“In my position, I think it is prudent that we respect decisions at all levels. We have respected the decision of the Constitutional Court and now let us respect the decisions of the Court of Human Rights, that is what the authorities are for and, in this case, we must respect it,” said legislator Acuña in an interview with Canal N.
