Laura Gauché shines on the first training of the descent

Laura Gauché continues well. After two top 10s at the 2022 Olympic Games (downhill and combined), the Savoyarde finished third in the first downhill training session in Crans-Montana on Thursday. With a time of 1’33″16, the skier from Tignes was beaten by 0″80 by the Swiss Joana Haehlen and the Norwegian Ragnhild Mowinckel.

For his part, Romane Miradoli ranks 15th, while Esther Paslier finished beyond the top 30 (33rd). Tiffany Gauthier finished in 60th and last place.

A second practice is scheduled for Friday before the race on Saturday (10:30 a.m.).
