Learn about the highest paid economic activities in Egypt in 2021

The data of the annual bulletin of statistics on employment, wages and working hours in 2021, issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, showed the average weekly wage for the most important economic activities in Egypt during that period, according to the following:

2087 pounds for communications and information activity, compared to 1595 pounds in 2020.

1929 pounds for mining and quarrying activity, compared to 1,726 pounds in 2020.

1896 pounds for electricity and gas supply activity, compared to 2059 pounds in 2020.

The average weekly wage was 942 pounds for workers in both the public sector/public business and the private sector, and 1881 pounds in the public sector/public business, compared to 1834 pounds in 2020, an increase of 2.6%. And 911 pounds in the private sector, compared to 885 pounds in 2020, with an increase of 2.6%. 2.9%, and 981 pounds, the average wage for males in both the public sector / public business and the private sector, compared to 940 pounds in 2020.
