news-details-description">

Nothing is impossible in Lebanon… Even our worst nightmares have a place on the ground, due to the whirlwind of problems that afflict us daily.

The most recent of these nightmares was what was rumored regarding the possibility of Lebanon being disconnected from the Internet within hours, due to the depletion of fuel oil essential for the operation of Ogero exchanges, which raised a state of anxiety regarding the possibility of separating us from the world and stopping many businesses related to the Internet.

MTV contacted the General Director of Ogero, Imad Kreidieh, who asserted that stopping the Internet in Lebanon is out of the question, although he recalled the lack of material resources necessary to carry out maintenance and operation work.

Kreidieh said, “It has become known that there is a big problem between the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Finance, due to the latter’s refusal to pay us much of our dues for the year 2022 until today, but what was rumored regarding the internet stopping in the coming hours is not true.”
