Perhaps with information or simply knowing how to read the electorate that he governed for 24 years, Juan Schiaretti was never neutral and questioned the Unión por la Patria candidate every time he could. A step back, but following the actions of the Cordoban political leader, Martín Llaryora imitated him, although without as much criticism and allowed some officials to issue signals for the ruling party.

Córdoba became monochromatic. The violet tinted every corner, only one department of the 26 was able to prevail Sergio Massa: Mines. In the rest, the victory of Libertad Avanza was overwhelming. In the capital the victory was overwhelming.

Javier Milei reached 74.05%, obtaining 1,637,147 votes against Unión por la Patria’s 25.94% (573,695 votes) with 99.89% of the tables counted.

The last time a result of this magnitude was observed was the victory of Mauricio Macri in 2015, although this time it was superior by almost 100 thousand more votes.

25 of 26 departments

Javier Milei won in almost every corner of the province. 96% of the tables decided to vote for the libertarian. In the capital he won 100% of the sectionals.

In ten departments, Javier Milei exceeded 75% of the votes. We could group them as one of the most productive and agricultural sectors such as Río Segundo, Río Primero or Tercero Arriba. Others that have shown great demographic growth, such as Colón to the north of the capital (an area of wealthy middle class neighborhoods), the LLA reached close to 77%.

In San Justo, where Martín Llaryora was born, the libertarians reached 75%. In Río Cuarto, which a few weeks ago hosted Sergio Massa with its mayor Juan Manuel Llamosas at the helm, the difference was enormous: 73.25% to 26.74%.

Martín Gill in Villa María or the rest of the leaders who participated in the campaign did not weigh in on the popular decision either.

A Capital department that does not accept other colors

Of the 119 sections that make up the electoral map of the capital of Cordoba. Rarely seen, not even Ramón Javier Mestre, when he won the mayor’s office, achieved such a victory.

There are some sections where Javier Milei reached 100% of the votes. It was the case of 7c, on the way to Pajas Blancas. There she was left with the 10 of the 16 that had to be paid. Six did not attend to vote.

In the country areain the northwest of the city, La Libertad Avanza was around 80% of the election and in section 11L exceeded 93%. To better locate the sector, we could say that it is the Las Delicias neighborhood and surrounding area, upper class of Cordoba.

On the south side, also a sector where you can find gated communities of the upper middle class or wealthy, the preference for the libertarian exceeded 86%.

If we look at the popular neighborhoods, we can select several sections such as 10, 13, 6 or 5. Milei won in all of them.

In Villa El Libertador he tripled Massa (74.89% to 25%), a result that is repeated in Villa Azalais or Chacra de la Merced. Bella Vista is another neighborhood that was characterized by supporting the Peronists in most elections, in which case it voted like the rest of the city for Milei.
