Al-Marsad newspaper: Sources revealed the imminent adoption of linking electricity bills to real estate lease contracts.

The sources indicated, according to Al-Arabiya, that this will be done by transferring the electricity bill to the tenant in full and linking it to the lease contracts.

She pointed out that the implementation of this decision would keep unpaid bills owed to the tenant even in the event of eviction from the property, which ensures that tenants are obligated to pay electricity dues before moving to another residence.
