Difficulties
But all good things come to an end and for some time we have noticed many problems at Linky counters. Between noises and abnormal behavior. This is why many homes are beginning to want to remove these meters from their homes. Indeed, it could well be that these counters have bad health implications from some ; It is therefore people who are actually hypersensitive to waves who will want to remove this new source of discomfort. However, the Enedis group refuses this request. This is why in 2020, many users decide to file a complaint against Enedis, which forces them to see their health deteriorate.
Finally this battle goes up quite high in justice. Indeed, for the Linky counters the battle goes as far as Bordeaux in the high court. But after a few weeks, the verdict fell. Enedis lost the case and the hypersensitive people won their case. But Enedis does not doesn’t seem to have said its last word. And so that the Linky counters are kept, the group has appealed with the Cassation.
The testimony of a Linky victim
It is not simply out of whim that these people no longer want to see Linky meters at home. Indeed, if some refuse the meters because of the obligatory nature and therefore in a spirit of rebellion, here this is not the case. It turns out that these people had accepted the Linky counters, but after use they realized the problems. The health of some has greatly deteriorated. A couple declares having asked Enedis to remove the meter from their home. Request that the group therefore refused.
It was then that the couple filed a complaint against the group for “endangering the life of others” et “no assistance to the person in danger”. This is how they had to remove the electricity meter themselves, which is therefore very dangerous. They chose to replace it with another counter that does not affect health. But Enedis’ response to this case is not the one desired. Indeed, they brought in a bailiff justice so that he can see the meter change himself.
Victory
So when Enedis lost its case over linky meters, it had an obligation. He is therefore forced to install filters protection on the most sensitive Linky meters. The group should also remove Linky counters fairly quickly under penalty of paying 500 euro compensation.
