Lisa Marie Presley, who died at the age of 54, is to be buried at Graceland in Memphis. Her final resting place will be at the side of her “beloved son Ben,” the family announced yesterday. There is no date for the funeral yet.
The singer’s son, Benjamin Keough, was buried at the family estate in 2020. The grave of the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, Elvis Presley, who died in 1977, is also on the grounds of the Graceland villa, which is now a museum and a place of pilgrimage for fans.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of the rock ‘n’ roll legend, died on Thursday (local time) in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 54. “It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” said Priscilla Presley, 77, the singer’s mother. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
