Trained as a neurobiologist, Lucy Vincent has devoted more than twenty years to writing books to popularize research on the brain. “What fascinates me is how the brain changes according to experience and bodily perceptions. This interest dates back to my thesis, which was on brain plasticity at the University of Bordeaux. I think this ability is not emphasized enough. If we were aware of its powers, we would organize our lives completely differently. It is therefore to a cultural revolution that the scientist invites us today: to develop our cerebral capacities, we must cultivate our senses, and this, at any age of life.
