And he continued, “Changes should not be frightening, as everything must be used for improvement. We will move forward, being the only team that has been playing in Europe for 14 years, and that says everything about coaching decisions.”

Spalletti’s contract was to expire at the end of the current season, with an option to extend for another year, but Spalletti asked for the contract to be terminated in June.
Spalletti won the Italian League, absent since 1990, and the third in the club’s history.

Napoli scored under the leadership of Spalletti 75 goals in the Italian league as the strongest attack, and conceded only 28 goals as the strongest defense.
